FAQ
Everything you need to know about Aktvator, gigs, verification, payments, and how the platform works for companies and Aktvators.
Aktvator is a performance-based marketplace where businesses create gigs and campaigns, and people complete verified tasks to earn. Companies only pay for work that has been completed and verified.
Aktvator is currently live in Nigeria. We are building toward additional markets. Follow us or check back for expansion announcements.

You can post sales gigs, referral gigs, product activation tasks, customer onboarding gigs, lead generation tasks, promotion campaigns, field marketing gigs, and event activation tasks — among others.
You only pay when a gig is completed and verified. There is no upfront cost per task. You fund a campaign wallet, and payouts happen automatically after you approve a submission.
Yes. Every submission is visible in your dashboard with the submitted proof (photo, video, or data). You approve valid submissions or raise a dispute. Payment moves only after your approval.

Most gigs require only a smartphone with camera access and the ability to complete basic tasks in the field or online. Some gigs may have additional requirements — always read the gig details.
Yes. There's no limit on the number of gigs you can apply for simultaneously.
You'll be notified with the reason for rejection. Some gigs allow resubmission; others do not. Review the gig requirements carefully before submitting.
Yes. We collect only the data necessary to operate the platform and verify your identity. See our Privacy Policy for full details.
Aktvators receive earnings in their in-app wallet after a submission is approved. They can then withdraw to a linked bank account subject to the platform's withdrawal rules.
Withdrawal processing times vary based on your bank. Most transfers complete within 24 hours of initiating a withdrawal.
Yes. A minimum withdrawal threshold applies. Check the platform's current withdrawal rules inside your Aktvator account.
Companies deposit funds into a campaign wallet. The platform holds the funds and debits them only when gig completions are approved. Unused funds remain in the wallet.
Platform fees apply to certain operations. Full fee details are available in your account settings and are disclosed before any transaction.
Aktvators submit proof of completion (photos, videos, forms, or other evidence). The company reviews the submission and either approves it — triggering a payout — or raises a dispute.
Verification time depends on the company reviewing the submission. Most reviews complete within 24–72 hours.
Each gig defines its proof requirements. It may include photos at a location, video of a completed interaction, a form submission, or receipt data. Always read the gig requirements before starting work.
If a company disputes a submission, you are notified and given the reason. Aktvator may review disputes and make a final determination when escalated.
Some gigs allow resubmission; others do not. This depends on how the company has configured the gig. Check the gig status in your dashboard for resubmission options.
We read every message. Email us and we'll get back to you within 24–48 hours.
